About EMI

Ephesians Ministries International is an apostolic ministry devoted to building up and maturing Christ’s body so that we all may:

Arrive at the unity of the faith.....

Achieve the precise knowledge of the Son
   of God, so that we.....

   Become the consummate New Man.....

Whose portion is the predetermined state
   of Christ manifested therein.

Our ministry consists of teaching truth that is directed towards this end. This teaching is complimented with whatever supernatural gifts the Holy Spirit deems needed. We seek to build every member of the body to achieve effective ministry to one another and to the world. Our first attention is to strengthen other five-fold and local ministry who then also strengthen the members.

We are relationally oriented. We see the church as a many member family/body. It is an organism and not merely an organization. Often our relationships take on the father to the son’s aspect. Overall, there is an appreciation of the Father’s love through Jesus to us by the Holy Spirit.

Since Jesus is King, we are Kingdom oriented. We believe it is our commission to advance the Kingdom to the extent given each generation. We do this primarily by making disciples. Their lives then change and influence the world around them.

As builders, we have a good grasp of what God wants to build, yet, remain dependent on the Holy Spirit. Establishing or restructuring congregations, means paying attention to the distinctiveness of the members set in that local congregation by the Holy Spirit. In addition, culture, environment, history and spiritual resistance come into consideration.

Team is a vital concept of our ministry. We encourage it in local bodies; yet recognize the principle of leadership and headship as integral in Gods’ economy. Humility is an absolute in maintaining the unity of the Spirit that brings about the best results of team ministry. Love and esteem of one another are essentials. We seek to promote these.

This apostolic has ministered around the world and locally. We respond to the calls of the church and to the sending of the Holy Spirit.
